This is a very rare 1986 Gold Chinese Proof Five-Coin Set. This impressive set features 1 oz., 1/2 oz., 1/4 oz., 1/10 oz. and 1/20 ounce .999 fine gold proof coins (1.90 troy oz fine gold for the complete set). This beautiful 5-coin set was issued by the People's Bank of China, minted by the China Mint Company and distributed by China Gold Coin Corporation.

The coins all have the same obverse, depicting the Temple of Heaven and the reverse is a Panda with bamboo. The total mintage was limited to 10,000 sets maximum. This set comes with the original outer box, hand painted wooden inner box, and Certificate of Authenticity with S/N 8450. The coins themselves are packaged in their own individual plastic air-tite capsules to protect the beautiful mirror proof surfaces. This set would make a wonderful addition to any coin collection - absolutely gorgeous!!
