Struck in .9999 fine Silver, this Australian Silver coin will be a treasure for investors as well as collectors and will surely become a worldwide success. As a Perth Mint first, a micro-laser engraved letter "A" appears within the first A of "Australian" (visible under magnification), providing authentication and detection against counterfeits.

As a "first-year-of-issue" coin release, the 2016 kangaroo may become the "key" to the series (which is typical of first-year-of-issue Australian coins).

Each coin will be shipped in a 2x2 non-PVC safety flip unless you buy 25 coins which would come in their original sealed Perth Mint tube. The coins also fit into our 41 mm plastic capsules (sold separately in packs of ten holders).
