This is a silver proof set dated 1963. One each of the following coins are included: Lincoln Cent, Jefferson Nickel, Roosevelt Silver Dime, Washington Silver Quarter, and Franklin Silver Half Dollar (last year of issue). The coins have a special mirror-like "proof" finish and were made specifically for coin collectors. Coins are mint-sealed inside their original cellophane packaging. The original "Treasury Department" manila envelope and cardboard inserts are also included.

These early 60's proof sets are vastly undervalued today and make fantastic (and affordable) gifts for anyone born in 1963!
