1942 Gem Proof Mercury Dime

Offered here is a gorgeous gem proof 1942 Mercury dime graded PF 65 by NGC. The coin is blast white with exceptional eye appeal. The vast majority of proof Mercury dimes are either hazy, unattractively toned, or hairlined. The specimen offered here has incredible surfaces with deep liquid mirrors and a hint of cameo contrast on the devices when held at certain angles.

I look at dozens of proof Mercury dimes every year and only buy the best of the best. With only 22,329 originally minted, I feel PQ examples like the one offered here are vastly undervalued and much harder to find than most people realize. In fact, this coin has nicer eye appeal than many PF66 or PF67 Mercury dimes you will find.
